This morning I listened to a new song by hey, nothing.
Two voices in perfect harmony—distinct, different, but somehow made more beautiful by the space between them.
It made me think about how resonance works.
How we don’t need to match perfectly to move together.
Sometimes, just a slight shift in tone is enough.
A minor adjustment of attention.
A softening.
In music, two notes don’t need to be the same to sound good.
They only need to fit.
To meet within the rhythm.
To follow the song that’s already playing.
I think life might work the same way.
We’re all in this song together.
And it doesn’t take much to change the way we resonate.
Just enough to listen.
Just enough to lean.
That’s where the harmony lives.
Not in sameness.
But in willingness.
