From the studio
Object 001 “Magick Toolbox” with Acrylics and mixed media on vintage metal toolbox. My former life as an antique store owner and my current life as an artist are beginning to collide. These old objects already have lives of their own in rust, scratches, dents, history. I don’t want to cover that up. I want to amplify it through my own personal symbolism. A toolbox becomes a relic. A found object becomes a spell.
