"Heart of the Woods" Acrylic on 6 x 6 Canvas I wasn't sure how to even begin the portrait of @davidwoodsdesign for the Mutual Subjects show happening this Saturday evening at @myceliumgallery, so I pulled out my phone and started doodling in Freeform until I liked the version of him that came out. I kept practicing until I worked up the nerve to put it on canvas. For someone accustomed to painting absurdities, it was surprisingly difficult. My bird still managed to make an appearance, shouting the Enochian phrase: "TURBS OD MOZ APILA AQLO DE PANPIR".
